Who We Are
Established in 1993 as a support group for people living with HIV, Alianza develops programs wherever needs are identified. Alianza means alliance in Spanish, and we have expanded our partnerships, alliances, and programs to meet the needs of communities across southeastern New Mexico.
In 2012, Alianza celebrated the opening of a second office location in Las Cruces, NM. From the original mission to uplift and support members of our community affected by HIV, Alianza has become a deeply trusted resource for people who face stigma due to substance use, HIV status or risk, and housing challenges.
By addressing the root causes of these issues, we strive to create a healthier and more equitable New Mexico for all.
